Design and Features
Measuring 5.4 by 15.4 by 13.4 inches (HWD), the XP-610 and evaluates 21.5 extra pounds. There is a 100-sheet main tray and a 20-sheet picture paper tray, plus an auto-duplexer for publishing on both sides of a sheet of paper. The moderate paper capacity is acceptable for home use, but it disappoints what you need for the printer to perform double duty in a home and office.
In addition to this, MFP is a letter-sized flatbed for copying or scanning. The front panel houses a 2.5-inch LCD bordered by touch manages. Sideways of the paper trays are the memory-card port (SD or MS Duo) and a port for a USB thumb own.
The XP-610 prints, duplicates, and checks, and can do so without connecting to a computer system, and it can publish into inkjet-printable DVDs or CDs. It can also print from or check to a USB blink own or sd card and check to a computer system or a network folder.

Publish Speed
The Epson XP-610 handled our business applications collection (using QualityLogic’s software and hardware for timing) at 4.9 effective web pages each min (ppm). It is significantly much faster than the Editors’ Choice Canon Pixma MX922 Wireless Workplace All-In-One Printer (2.4ppm), which, despite its name, is packed with home-friendly, as well as business-oriented, features. The XP-610 balanced 1 min 8 secs in publishing out four by six pictures, a great score, and simply a touch slower than the Canon MX922 (1:05).
Output Quality
The overall output quality is average for an inkjet. Text quality is appropriate for most home use, with the exemption of documents you want to earn a tremendous aesthetic impression, such as resumés.
Video quality is typical of inkjets. Most pictures revealed dithering through graininess and populate patterns in my test prints. Some very slim, colored lines were nearly invisible, and the white kind on a black history looked degraded at smaller-sized dimensions. Video quality suffices for PowerPoint handouts for primary use, however, except official records and so forth.
Pictures are over the same level. A monochrome image revealed some tinting, and several prints showed dithering (graininess), but most went to the very least the same quality as you had anticipated from pharmacy prints.
This printer utilizes five ink cartridges, consisting of a picture black. Its operating costs of 4.6 cents for each black-and-white web page and 13.3 cents for each color web page (based upon Epson’s numbers for its most cost-effective ink cartridges) are typical for an inkjet at its expense.
The XP-610 rests between the Epson Expression Home XP-410 and the Epson Expression Premium XP-810 in the company’s Small-in-One line. The Epson XP-410 is purely for home use and does not have the XP-610’s auto-duplexer, port for a USB thumb own, picture tray.
The Epson XP-810 includes business-friendly features, such as fax capability, an Ethernet port, and an automated document feeder (ADF). Neither of them could approach the XP-610’s evaluated speed (4.9ppm) in publishing from business applications, with the Epson XP-810 testing at 3.6ppm and the Epson XP-410 limping in at 2.6ppm.
