Epson WorkForce WF-7520
The Epson WorkForce WF-7520 is one such device that can publish documents as large as 13 x 19 inches, but it takes points up a scratch. The WF-7520 is also an All-in-One (AIO) multifunction printer (MFP) that provides publish, copy, check, and fax functions. It is a business-centric device, but we see it profiting the home user, too, considering it costs simply $300.

But the WF-7520’s large-document capability does not quit there. Both the check platen and the automated document feeder (ADF) can check up to 11 x 17, valid for scanning throughout both web pages of an open-up publication, for instance. Let’s take a better appearance at this wide-format jack-of-all-trades.
Features and design
Epson WorkForce WF-7520 – Wide-format printers tend towards the large side, and it is also more significant with the WF-7520 being an MFP. With the device measuring 22 x 27.2 x 18.1 inches in publishing setting (with the paper support extended), you are not mosting likely to shape this on your workdesk, at the very least not if you want anything else besides it. And evaluating 41 extra pounds, make sure you have the stamina to raise it.
Dimension apart, the WF-7520 is relatively conventional. Many of the Epson AIOs we’ve evaluated recently have a flexible turn control board, and the WF-7520 complies with the same design scheme. A small color LCD panel displays food selection choices. However, it isn’t a touchscreen.
Choices are used a four-direction arrowhead pad beside the screen with an “OK” switch in the center of the directional arrowheads. Separate areas of the control board are used for choosing various functions. The WF-7520 can publish pictures and documents straight from SD, Small Blink, or Memory Stick blink memory.
There’s a front USB port, but it is used with an electronic camera’s PictBridge direct publish feature. Automated duplexing is offered publishing, scanning, and faxing, and the ADF stands up to 30 web pages. Automated duplexing for scanning or copying is available with the ADF on letter-sized paper. However, the ADF will accommodate up to 11 x 17 documents when scanning on just one side.

The WF-7520 has excellent connectivity options. We usually test printers and MFPs using a USB cable television to avoid network or cordless traffic slowdowns impacting our speed tests. The WF-7520 supports USB, Ethernet, and 802.11n Wi-Fi links. If you register for a free Epson Connect account, you gain the ability to publish from anywhere and check to the shadow. The WF-7520 also supports Apple AirPrint and Google CloudPrint.
Epson WorkForce WF-7520 – Paper handling is another point we such as about the WF-7520. While the MFP does not give you the print-to-CD feature found on some Epson models, there are two paper trays, and each can be packed with a half-ream (250 sheets) of either letter- or legal-size paper.
These cassettes can also handle paper as small as 3.5 x 5 inches (usually picture paper) and as large as 13 x 19 inches. The WF-7520 can publish on most Epson technical documents consisting of iron-on move paper and sticky sheets. Epson doesn’t list its canvas paper as among the sustained documents, however.
While the WF-7520 can have excellent output quality, it is not billed as a picture printer. Epson’s picture printers typically use more significant than the standard four shades (cyan, magenta, yellow, and black) that inkjets, consisting of the WF-7520, are equipped with.
Epson uses the call “High-capacity” in explaining all the WF-7520 cartridges. The High-capacity black is ranked to yield about 385 web pages, while the High-capacity color cartridges are ranked at about 470 web pages each.
And, where most suppliers use XL, or extra-large in their more excellent yield cartridges, Epson uses “Extra High-capacity.” The black cartridge in this “Extra” dimension is expected to produce about 845 web pages, while the color cartridges are ranked at about 775 web pages. These are excellent yields, mainly since the extra-high-yield black cartridge costs a little bit under $30 from Epson’s online store, while color cartridges have to do with $21 each.
