Epson WorkForce WF-2760 Review

A budget plan model in Epson’s WorkForce business inkjet line, the Epson WorkForce WF-2760 is a small all-in-one printer tailored primarily to the office or mini workplace users. It offers a wide variety of link choices and intense speed and output quality. Its moderate paper capacity, limited feature set, and relatively high operating costs peg the WF-2760 for relatively light-duty use in a small workplace. Still, because of context, it may be all you need.

Design and Features

Measuring 9.1 by 16.7 by 14.2 inches (HWD) when shut for storage space and evaluating 14.6 extra pounds, the matte-black WF-2760 ($252.35 at Amazon.com) is small enough to share a work desk with. The printer is a letter-size flatbed, plus an automated document feeder (ADF) that can stand up to 30 sheets. It is limited to scanning one side of a file, although you can constantly load the document right into the ADF a 2nd time and check the various other sides if need be.

Other Printer: Epson Stylus NX415

The front panel tilts slightly upward for easy access. It houses a 2.7-inch color touch screen where you can easily access food selections to control the printer’s functions, an alphanumeric keypad, and switches consisting of Quit, Reset, and control to introduce either a black-and-white or color check.

The printer does not have a port for a USB thumb own. The WF-2760’s paper capacity is 150 sheets, instead of sporadic for a company printer, and doesn’t support any optional paper trays. It does, however, have an auto-duplexer for two-sided publishing.

Connection

There are lots of link choices on the WF-2760, both wired and cordless. It can connect to a computer system via USB 2.0 or a LAN via Ethernet or 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. It supports Wi-Fi Direct and close to area interaction (NFC), both of which let you make a straight peer-to-peer link to a mobile phone, the last by touching a suitable (Android) telephone or tablet computer to an area in addition to the printer.

The WF-2760 supports publishing from the Epson iPrint application (iOS or Android), Google Shadow Publish, Epson Innovative Publish, Epson Check to Shadow, Epson E-mail Publish, and Epson Remote Publish.

Output Quality and Operating Costs

Overall output quality for the WF-2760 was average for an inkjet all-in-one printer, with average text, slightly above-average pictures, and video quality a little bit below average. The text should be fine for any business use, other than those requiring minimal font styles.

With video, the printer succeeded in publishing slim, colored lines and gradients and reasonably well distinguishing between areas of comparable color. Some of the histories looked slightly discolored. Fifty percent of the PowerPoint web pages I published revealed apparent banding, a recurring pattern of striations. Overall, the picture quality was better than what you would certainly anticipate from pharmacy prints.
