Epson ET-3760
The Epson EcoTank ET-3760 is a bulk-ink all-in-one printer that provides excellent publish quality and reduced operating costs. Its lack of an ADF, however, may be an offer breaker for some workplaces.
Epson ET-3760 Review
Epson ET-3760 – At $399.99, the second machine from the top in Epson’s most current rounded of bulk-ink models, the EcoTank ET-3760, lists for $100 much less compared to its Editors’ Choice brother or sister, the EcoTank ET-4760.
For that lower price, you quit considerable capacity and a couple of key efficiency features, consisting of an auto-duplexer (for scanning the second side of two-sided web pages) and the ability to send out and receive faxes. Depending upon the kinds of documents and quantity your small, mini, or home-based workplace creates, the manual-duplexing ADF alone may be a deal-breaker and well well worth another C-note.
Other Printer: Epson WorkForce WF-2530
If you use your all-in-one printer to churn out primarily one-sided prints and duplicates, however and do not mind helping your AIO when the periodic two-sided check job occurs, the ET-3760 may position a better worth for your small workplace.
A New Appearance
As the tester explained about the ET-4760, this year’s stable of EcoTank printers (that includes 4 color AIOs, 2 monochrome AIOs, and a solitary function monochrome machine) are white—representing, as does the new EcoTank tagline, “Simply fill and cool,” Epson’s strong stab at having fun it cool.
(All the same, since this review, PCMag has looked at just about 2 of the 7 new models, and both remaining remain in the line.) If white AIO printers are too racy for you or your workplace group, you can buy a black one on epson.com.
Epson ET-3760 – Measuring 10.0 by 16.4 by 19.8 inches (HWD) and evaluating 15 extra pounds, the ET-3760 suits its better-endowed brother or sister, as well as Epson’s WorkForce ST-3000 EcoTank AIO, in dimension and girth. It also measures similarly to Canon’s Pixma G4210 MegaTank AIO, among that company’s bulk-ink models.
Rather larger, however, is HP’s OfficeJet Profesional Premier (another PCMag favorite). Brother, too, offers an equally valued Editors’ Choice AIO, the MFC-J6945DW INKvestment Storage container Color Inkjet All-In-One Printer.
However, as a super-tabloid (13 by 19 inches) machine qualified for publishing, copying, scanning, and faxing over-size documents, compared with these various other small desktop-space-saver AIOs, consisting of the ET-3760, Brother’s model is a monster.
Again, the ET-3760’s 30-sheet automated document feeder (ADF) is manual-duplexing, meaning that to check the second side of two-sided documents, you must turn it on your own to catch the various other sides.
Of the AIOs mentioned in the previous paragraph, most also have 30-sheet manual-duplexing ADFs, besides the OfficeJet Profesional Premier and MFC-J6945DW, which come with auto-duplexing ADFs that hold 35 sheets and 50 sheets, specifically.
Epson ET-3760 – Also common on business-driven AIOs in this course are color visuals touchscreens. However, they vary some in-between models. The MFC-J6945DW’s screen, for circumstances, works along with a number pad and a couple of various other switches, while the ET-3760’s 2.4-inch display makes up the whole control board.
While generally, the ET-3760’s control board is easy to use, a 2.4-inch screen is a bit constrained, sometimes production touching a symbol challenging. As with most printers nowadays, you can navigate that by logging into this AIO’s integrated (and spacious) internet website. Almost all features, consisting of monitoring supplies and producing, viewing, and publishing use records, are available.
However, the ET-3760’s meager 150-sheet paper input tray is disappointing, its single paper input resource. Besides the Canon G4210, which holds 50 sheets much less, most of the various other AIOs discussed here hold at the very least 100 sheets greater than the ET-3760.
The exemption is the MFC-J6945DW’s sturdy paper capacity with a massive 350 sheets greater than the ET-3760’s, production the Brother model, of course, a lot more flexible workplace AIO.
Also meager, particularly for a $400 workplace printer, is the ET-3760’s 5,000-page monthly duty cycle and 800-page suggested monthly publish quantity. While these coincide, quantity scores Epson bestowed on the ET-4760, ST-3000, and several various other EcoTank models.
They’re significantly smaller sized compared to many of today’s similarly valued devices. For instance, the HP Premier’s duty cycle is 20,000 web pages greater, and its suggested quantity is 700 web pages greater, while the Brother MFC-J6945DW’s scores are still greater.
